About ASET
The Performance Group Limited attained Licensed Centre status with the National Awarding Body ASET at the end of September 2007. As an ASET Licensed Centre this signifies that we have been approved to deliver ASET Awards and Qualifications and that we have met strict quality standards for learning providers. This involved close scrutiny at our quality standards for staffing, resources and assessment as well as the quality processes of the organisation. The Performance Group had to meet exactly the same rigorous standards as those required of universities, colleges, schools and other large employers.
As an ASET Licensed Centre, The Performance Group, through its skills development brand Human Performance, is now able to deliver approved ASET Awards, National Awards and Qualifications to our clients and delegates.
There are approximately 100 or so Awarding Bodies in the UK and ASET are in the Top 10 in regard to size, learners and turnover. ASET is a National Awarding Body which is regulated by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) and recognised by all the relevant UK Government departments and agencies. Their origins are in a regional examining board active in the 1920s.
Today, ASET specialises in providing, quality assuring, and certificating vocational learning programmes. ASET certificates are nationally recognised and provide clear information about the learning outcomes that have been achieved. An ASET Certificate signifies that the holder has successfully completed a high quality programme of learning and has reached clearly specified outcomes at a defined level which are up-to-date, relevant and appropriate to the programme area studied.

Human Performance & ASET
Human Performance currently offer 24 different workshops all mapped to National Occupational Standards at Level 3 and Level 4. Over the coming months these will be submitted for ASET Awards which will enable delegates, who complete our certificated workshops and following the successful completion of an assessment and/or assignment, to receive the nationally recognised ASET Award in the programme area completed.
Our qualified staff have expertise in internal assessment and will be responsible for maintaining the quality standards of assessment for all ASET Awards. In addition ASET have appointed a Quality Auditor to conduct audit visits to the company to monitor our quality systems and ensure that they are administered consistently to ASET Awards and Qualifications.
This means that candidates achieving an ASET Award or Qualification through Human Performance will add value to their continual professional development and be recognised by other employers as having met national standards of competence in the subject areas studied. ASET Awards can also be used by candidates for accreditation of prior learning to convert knowledge and experience into other awards such as NVQs etc.
