Kate comes from a strong background of operational and service management and is well versed in the intricacies of successful project management. Kate’s background includes working as a Recruitment Consultant for Alfred Marks and five years working for a data collection company where she was promoted three times culminating in her role as Customer Services Manager with responsibility for 42 staff. In this role Kate was responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relations in what was a large service orientated environment where the customer was “king” and their needs were placed above those of anything else.
In 2007 Kate set up her own on-line costume jewellery business and has greatly developed her IT skills by taking a leading role in the design of her website and has been able to apply her skills of business development and customer service.
Kate has joined The Performance Group Limited as our Office Manager with responsibility for special projects and to assist with customer liaison. Kate’s first project is to work with Michael – our current Shell STEP under-graduate – on raising the public profile of the company within the Milton Keynes area and to increase the uptake of our Human Performance EDI Endorsed Qualifications locally. This will primarily take the form of liaising with prospective customers to help them better understand the content of each course and the benefits applicable to their specific organisation.
