Jill has been working in the computer industry since 1979, beginning as a Cobol programmer and currently working as a freelance trainer, assessor and developer. In that time she has held a variety of positions progressing from programming through to Customer Support, Analysis and Design, Testing, Project leadership/management and all aspects of Education.
Jill worked for UNISYS from 1985 to 1995 all but two years of which was within the UNISYS Education Centre in Milton Keynes, the other two years as a software developer in the Law Enforcement division.
Since becoming freelance Jill has worked in the Public, Private and Voluntary sectors on a wide range of Hardware and Software. Developing course, testing and assessment material, planning/delivering courses and assessing coursework, as well as undertaking software and webpage development in a variety of modern languages.
Jill is a Fellow of the Institute of IT Trainers, a Member of the British Computer Society, registered with the Institute for Learning and a Microsoft Certified Professional. In addition to this she received the Runners up Medallist in the Individual Excellence Awards (2007) – IT Trainer of the Year – from the BCS.
Jill has joined Human Performance as an assessor of our Level 3 EDI Endorsed Qualifications. With so much of the skills development work of Human Performance now focused on the EDI Endorsed Qualifications, it has been necessary to increase the size of the assessment team to meet this volume of work. Jill brings her considerable experience to the company to ensure that we continue to maintain the highest standards of assessment.
